Jen, thanks so much for organizing this wonderful activity on Wednesday nights.  I think I'd been to the Chelsea Market only one time in my life until I discovered Mind Games.  Now I come in from Queens on a weekly basis to grab dinner and a cappucino and attend Mind Games.  I also seem to spend a small fortune in Bowery Kitchen Supplies every time I visit -- please keep me away from that store!!

I am 29 year old graduating law student at Fordham.  I have attended the geography bee a few times.  As part of a group of friends who each individually fancies themself smarter and more sophisticated than everyone else (or at least each other), it seemed like the perfect way to have fun, test our wits and enjoy a night together.  I had never heard of, let alone been to, Chelsea Market.  When it was finally time to show on Wednesday night, I located Chelsea Market on the map and was amazed to find all the stuff that was in there, especially given that I had walked through that neighborhood numerous times and even been to buddakan right nextdoor.  The two times our group attended, we purchased two bottles of wine from a store within the market And a number of us enjoyed dinner from various retailers there.  Our group doubled in size the second time we attended and, based on the feedback I've received from everyone I have discussed it with, it promises to grow bigger on future trips.   The atmosphere in the market and quality of the games really does put bar-based trivia to shame. 

I found out about Chelsea Market through Chelsea Mind Games. I heard about the Team Trivia Night and thought it was a great way for my co-workers and I to have some fun and unwind after work at the UN. So, I brought eight people to Chelsea Market who had never been there before. While we were taking part in the Trivia Contest, most of us had either food or drinks because we had come straight there from work. I had some great pad thai and thai iced tea. My co-workers commented on what a cool space the Market was and how they planned to come back again. After seeing the bakeries in the Market, my friend Isabelle plans to use one of them for her wedding cake this summer. On top of all that, we were pretty pleased that our team earned honorable mention in the trivia contest; we plan to be back at the next Trivia Night to win it all!
